HOW DOES THIS ALL WORK?
1. DESIGN SESSION
We start off with deciding what kind of art you want to create for your home. I meet with you to review portrait styles, finishing choices and how you imagine these portraits will be displayed in your home. I will help you design the perfect collection of wall portraits, taking into consideration your style, home decor, and budget.
2. WARDROBE CONSULTATION
After your design session you should have a good idea of what you would like everyone to wear. I can help consult with you to finalize what everyone will be wearing at least one week prior to your portrait session so there’s plenty of time for last minute changes.
3. PORTRAIT SESSION
By this time, we have collaborated on the wardrobe and know what style and sizes of artwork are going to be created. I will bring out the best in all of you. All you have to do is relax and have fun at your session.
4. SALES APPOINTMENT
A week or so after your portrait session, we will meet for a sales appointment. Your portraits will be projected on a big screen in life size. I will have wall and album designs ready for your review based on what you decided in your design session. Your complete order will be placed at this meeting and all decision makers will need to attend without distraction. Please make childcare arrangements if needed.
5. PRODUCTION
I oversee every step of the production process to ensure the portraits are perfect and delivered on time (4-8 weeks). Naturally, the Signature Series hand painted portraits take significantly longer (up to 6 months). Whether I am creating wall portraits, folio boxes or fine art albums I will choose the best archival materials and take the time to design custom work that best suits your chosen artwork.
6. DELIVERY AND PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION
I highly recommend having your artwork delivered and installed on the wall for you, spaced and balanced to perfection. All you have to do is show off your artwork. Some of our clients even host an unveiling party for their friends and family (and I am always happy to attend)!
7. LET'S DO THIS AGAIN
Many of my clients update their wall art every few years as their family grows and changes. Your children's development will be documented through all of the important stages of life. Some families choose to create wall art one year, then create a family album the next year, and alternate throughout the years. Whatever you choose, I am honored to create your treasured heirlooms that are passed down for future generations.
